Fire-rated inspection hatch for walls and service shafts (EI30–EI120)
The F5 fire-rated inspection hatch features an aluminum frame and fire-rated gypsum insert, designed for recessed installation in walls and service shafts. Classified according to EN 13501-2 (EI30–EI120), it provides secure access to installations hidden behind walls, such as pipes, valves, electrical wiring, or junction boxes, making maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing easier without opening or damaging the wall. The F5 hatch can be installed in drywall, concrete, or timber constructions.
The hatch leaf is secured with concealed push locks, providing a clean and discreet front. It can be painted to match the surrounding wall for a seamless finish. If necessary, the hatch leaf can be easily removed, with a safety chain on the inside ensuring safe handling when open.
Optional features include sound insulation up to 42 dB according to EN ISO 10140-2, and air and dust tightness according to DIN EN 12207, making it suitable for environments where fire protection, noise reduction, and airtightness are important.
