Discreet and Smart Solution for Tiled Wall Surfaces

F3 is a flexible access panel with an aluminium frame, specially developed for interior tiled walls. The hatch is available with or without a gypsum inlay in thicknesses of 12.5 mm, 15 mm, or 25 mm. It is ideal for bathrooms and other environments where tiles are used and discreet access to installations behind the wall is required.

The F3 panel comes in two versions – one designed for tiling within the hatch surface, and one for tiling over it. The lid is removable and equipped with an internal safety chain.

The hatch consists of an aluminium frame with gypsum inlay. The surface is suitable for tiling or filling with materials matching the surrounding wall.

 

Regulations & Recommendations

Installation of the F3 access panel must comply with the Swedish Building Regulations (BBR), particularly in wet rooms or where fire resistance is required.

Important considerations:

– Fire rating: EI30 or EI60 may be required when placed at fire compartment boundaries

– Moisture resistance: Compliant with GVK/Säker Vatten regulations for wet areas

– Accessibility: The hatch must be easily reachable for service and maintenance
