The beveled outer frame combined with four riveted wall anchors ensures a stable and reliable installation. The hatch is removable and available in any RAL colour, with white RAL 9010 as standard.

Regulations and Recommendations

In Sweden, the installation of inspection hatches is governed by the Swedish Building Regulations (BBR).
In areas requiring fire or moisture protection, special regulations apply:

– Fire rating: EI30 or EI60 is required at fire compartment boundaries

– Moisture protection: Moisture-resistant construction per Säker Vatten or GVK guidelines

– Accessibility: The hatch must be easily accessible and not blocked by furnishings

In both new construction and renovation, it is important to use the correct hatch type and ensure installation follows all applicable regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
