Visedge is a purpose-designed aluminium floor access hatch developed for installation in areas finished with vinyl or linoleum flooring. The floor hatch is bonded directly onto the lid, creating a seamless surface that eliminates raised edges and reduces the risk of moisture ingress, wear or damage at the junction between cover and floor. The lid and frame are securely integrated into the structure, and an integral gasket between them ensures effective sealing. This makes Visedge an optimal solution for environments where hygiene, tightness and low-maintenance performance are essential, such as healthcare facilities, schools, public buildings and laboratories.

Operation & Maintenance

Always follow the specific operation and maintenance instructions supplied with your order, as these may vary depending on model, material and options.

• Before operating the unit, ensure there are no obstacles in the lid’s movement path
• The ground access hatch should be opened and cleaned at least once a year, using clean water and a mild cleaning agent with a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaning products
• Ensure that the gap between the lid and frame is free from gravel and dust
• If the rubber gasket between lid and frame becomes damaged or dried out, it must be replaced
