Discreet, water- and gastight access cover for paved areas with a high load class
Gatic Pave is a recessed access cover for paved areas where a discreet and aesthetic finish is important, while the environment also places high demands on load capacity, secure access and tightness. The cover is designed for infill with paving blocks or pavers, allowing it to blend into surroundings such as squares, walkways, parking areas and other public spaces.
The system is available in four standard sizes and can be supplied as single covers, duct covers or multi-module solutions with removable supporting beams. This makes Gatic Pave a flexible solution for both smaller openings and longer straight runs.
Gatic Pave is designed for load class up to D400 in accordance with BS EN 124 and is suitable for slow-moving traffic with pneumatic tyres. When correctly installed, the cover is non-rocking and gas-, air-, dust- and watertight under normal rainwater conditions.
For increased security, Gatic Pave cannot be removed without the correct lifting key, making unauthorised removal very difficult. The keyways are closed and fitted with plastic plugs to prevent the ingress of dirt and dust. Locking bolts can also be fitted to the keyways as an additional security feature.
