Discreet inspection hatch for tiled walls
The A3 Inspection Hatch is designed to provide safe and convenient access to concealed services in walls. It is suitable for accessing pipes and plumbing installations, electrical installations, cable routes, service cupboards and other technical equipment that requires inspection or maintenance.
The hatch is manufactured from durable Zintec steel and features a plasterboard infill that can be tiled to blend discreetly into the surrounding wall. Its concealed design makes it particularly suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms and other tiled environments where easy access and a uniform appearance are required.
The inspection hatch can be installed in both plasterboard walls and solid walls. The non-fire-rated version is removable and fitted with concealed hinges, making installation, servicing and maintenance easier. It can be supplied with a square lock, a push-up lock for non-fire-rated versions or a three-point locking system operated by a square key.
For areas with fire safety requirements, the hatch is available with 60 or 120 minutes of fire resistance.
The maximum size depends on the selected version. Non-fire-rated hatches can be manufactured up to 2400 × 900 mm. Fire-rated models can be manufactured up to 1800 × 600 mm for 60-minute protection and 900 × 600 mm for 120-minute protection. The hatch is designed for a maximum load of 32 kg/m².

*Fire-rated inspection hatches are fitted with intumescent seals within the frame. These seals must not be altered, damaged or removed under any circumstances.
