The A1 Inspection Hatch is a stylish and durable solution designed to provide easy access to concealed services in walls and ceilings. It is suitable for accessing plumbing installations, electrical systems, cable routes, service cupboards and other technical equipment that may require inspection or maintenance.
The A1 is manufactured from durable Zintec steel and is supplied as standard in RAL 9010 with a 20% gloss finish. To suit the surrounding interior, it can also be supplied in any RAL colour. Its discreet appearance makes it suitable for offices, residential buildings, commercial properties and public environments.
The hatch is fitted with a continuous hinge and comes with a square lock as standard. Depending on the configuration, it can also be supplied with a push lock or a three-point locking system operated with a square key.
For areas with fire safety requirements, the A1 Inspection Hatch is available in fire-rated versions offering up to 60 minutes of fire resistance in ceilings, E60, and up to 120 minutes in walls, E120. Fire-rated models are fitted with intumescent seals within the frame.
The hatch is available in standard sizes from 300 × 300 mm up to 600 × 1200 mm. Bespoke sizes can also be manufactured on request
